Bill Blackwood Park 2321 Baker St.
6.50 acre site with a 0.66 mile walking trail, playground, 2 practice fields w/ clay infields, and 6 picnic areas including a table, grill and trash receptacle.
Bruton Soccer Complex 717 Bruton Rd.
14.00 acre site with a 1.55 mile trail (total trail length) connecting Paschall Park to Hodges Park (through Bruton Soccer Complex, Prichett Property & Travis Williams Athletic Complex). Park also has a parking area, concession and restroom building and 3 lighted soccer fields.
Cayman Estates Newsome at Parkwood
26.74 acre site with a .55 mile concrete trail and a playground.
City Lake Park 403 S. Galloway Park
Size: 11.80 acres Trail Length: 0.48 miles. There are 17 picnic tables including a covered picnic shelter. The park also includes a lighted tennis court, a lighted little league baseball field as well as Lakeside Activity Center. City Lake Aquatic Center is located south of the lake at 200 Parkview St..
DeBusk Park 1625 Gross Rd.
42.52 acre site with a 1.44 mile (total trail length) concrete trail connecting to Westover Greenbelt Park through Westover Park. Park includes 2 playgrounds including KidsQuest (a large community built play area), a baseball field, open playing field, 2 large picnic pavilions with 18 tables and 2 restroom facilities. Repairs for KidsQuest picnic pavilion and the pavilion floor at Peachtree and South Parkway are scheduled for late spring 2001. Erosion control measures for the trail bridge at KidsQuest pavilion should be constructed late spring 2001.
Eastfield Soccer Complex (leased to city) 3737 Motley
30.00 acre park site with a 1.0-mile concrete trail, 2 practice backstops 20 soccer fields and concession/restroom building. Field grading and renovation work is in progress.
Emmit Evans Park 1116 Hillcrest
26.25 acre park with a playground, a pool, 3 baseball fields (2 lighted), 2 sand volleyball courts, a lighted football field, and 2 picnic tables. Evans Community Center & Senior Center has an indoor basketball court, 2 indoor volleyball and badminton courts. Currently the community center is being renovated for the addition of a senior craft store.
Hodges Park 230 Bruton Rd.
10.00 acre site with a 1.55 mile trail (total trail length) connecting Paschall Park to Hodges Park (through Bruton Soccer Complex, Prichett Property & Travis Williams Athletic Complex). Park includes a playground, 2 practice fields with clay infields, a picnic shelter and 10 picnic tables.
Kimbrough Athletic Complex 3816 N. Galloway
9.70 acre park site with 2 lighted baseball fields, and a football field.
McKenzie at Lucas Property 1717 McKenzie Rd.
304.00 acre site of the Mesquite Girls' Softball Complex. This complex will consist of 4 lighted softball fields, 2 lighted hockey courts, a concession & restroom building, a large pavilion, and a playground. A consultant is being retained to develop a master plan for future improvements.
Palos Verdes Park 4800 Olympia
16.11 acre park with a looped 0.58 mile concrete trail, a lake with fishing piers and a decorative fountain.
Paschall Park 1001 New Market
64.70 acre park with a 1.55 mile trail (total trail length) connecting Paschall Park to Hodges Park (through Bruton Soccer Complex, Prichett Property & Travis Williams Athletic Complex). Park Includes 4 lighted softball fields, 2 football fields, 40 picnic tables and a large pavilion.
Rorie-Galloway Day Camp 3100 Lawson Rd.
100.00 acre day camp facility with soft surface trails, a challenge course, a small lake and a fishing pier, restrooms, a large picnic pavilion, and 11 picnic tables.
Town East Park 2724 Town East Blvd.
29.14 acre park with a 1.20 mile concrete trail, a playground, a pool facility, a basketball goal, 2 sand volleyball courts, a large picnic pavilion and 21 picnic tables. Construction is under way for the renovation of the pool facility and should be complete by May 2001.
Travis Williams Athletic Complex 1005 New Market Rd.
45.72 acre park with a 1.55 mile trail (total trail length) connecting Paschall Park to Hodges Park (through Bruton Soccer Complex, Prichett Property & Travis Williams Athletic Complex). Park also has a playground that is part of a lighted 3 field softball complex.
Valley Creek Park 2482 Pioneer Rd.
88.21 acre park with a 1.14 mile concrete trail, a playground, small lake with fishing piers, a large picnic pavilion and 6 picnic tables. The park also includes Hubert Terry Athletic Complex which consists of 4 lighted baseball fields, 3 football fields, and a concession & restroom building.
Westlake Park 600 Gross Rd.
43.25 acre park with a 0.18 mile concrete trail, a pond, 6 lighted basketball courts, 9 lighted tennis courts (6 indoor), and 9 picnic tables. Westlake House is a reservation only facility for meetings or special occasions.
Westover Park S. Parkway at Sybil
33.72 acre park with a 1.30 mile concrete trail connecting Debusk Park with Westover Greenbelt Park. Park also includes a baseball field, 18 tables, and a picnic shelter.
